Hester Named NFC Special Teams Player Of The Week
(CBS) Bears return specialist Devin Hester has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week, the Tribune reports.
Hester, an eight-year veteran, has earned this award 13 times.
The 30-year-old Hester set a new Bears franchise record with 249 kickoff return yards in the team's 31-30 win over the Vikings.
He averaged 49.8 yards on his five kickoff returns for the day.
