Who Do You Love - Week 3

Who Do You Love – Week 3:

Going to the window in for the NFL's week three?  Let the Mac and Spiegs Show offer their favorite plays of this football weekend.  Which do you like the most?  Vote below and you may help the showpot in the quest to spend NFL Championship Weekend in Las Vegas.

Spiegel:  3-1 on the year
Giants +1 at Carolina
The Giants are too good of a team to lose three in a row while Carolina is very good at finding ways to lose games.  This looks like free money to me.
49ers/Colts over 46
The 49ers safeties have their own issues and Trent Richardson only makes me like points more in this one.  The 49ers bounce back and put up their fair share of points as well.  I think this goes way over the 46.

Shepkowski:  2-1-1 on the year
Giants +1 at Carolina
Tom Coughlin vs. Ron Rivera.  Even if the Giants don't end up being a great football team, they'll be significantly better than the Panthers on Sunday as Coughlin gets a weekend to not have to show off his red-face nearly as much.
Falcons +2 at Miami
The Dirty Birds have their own issues at offensive line and in the running game but are you really buying the Dolphins that much yet?  Atlanta is one of the top three or four teams in the NFC and they finally play like it this week.

Ben Finfer:  1-3 on the year
Jaguars +19 at Seattle
Pete Carroll won't run it up on his former defensive coordinator and the Seahawks will come out flat after last week's huge win.  This is too big of an NFL line not to bet the underdog, I love Jacksonville.
Giants +1 at Panthers
The Panthers love finding ways to lose football games, that's the Ron Rivera way as a head coach.  I take the proven quarterback over the stat-compiler in Cam Newton.  Giants win straight up.

Dan McNeil:  1-3 on the year
Lions +2 at Washington
As much as I dislike Jim Schwartz he has a better football team than the Redskins, who haven't stopped a thing the first two weeks.  Pains me to do it but I love Fighting Schwartz's on Sunday.
Falcons +2 at Miami
I'm expecting a let down for the Dolphins after starting the season 2-0 with a  couple of road games.  The NFL's least intimidating home field proves worthless here and the Falcons win straight up.

Jay Zawaski:  0-4 on the year
The Bears -3 at the Steelers.
While I don't think it's going to be the cakewalk many are predicting for the Bears, I think they're going to win by a touchdown. I'm just not sure what the Steelers do well.  Plus, Trestman.   Therefore, I love the Bears -3 at Pittsburgh.

Michigan State +7 at Notre Dame -
As a life long Notre Dame fan, it pains me to pick against the Irish, but their defense has been a sieve this season.  I actually loved Purdue +21 last week, but Shep talked me out of it.   ND always seems to struggle against the Spartans, and the Irish did nothing to boost my confidence last week at Purdue.  The Irish may very well win the game, but I love the Spartans + the 7.
