Boy, 15, Found Shot To Death On South Side
(STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed on the South Side Friday afternoon, police said.
The boy was found with a gunshot wound to the back about 1:35 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Vernon Street, police said. The boy was dead at the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
