(WSCR) - The Showpot continues to struggle after going 0-2 last week by betting on two road underdogs.  Can it get righted this week and perhaps save any chance whatsoever the show has of making it to Vegas?  Doubtful, but we’ll play along anyway.  Here are your week four submissions, vote for which you think is best below:

Matt Spiegel (3-3 on the year):
Over 47.5 in Detroit vs. Chicago
The Lions secondary is weak whereas the Bears receivers are legit threats.  Couple that with the Bears plan to not blitz much and I see Stafford picking apart the Bears defense.  A bunch of points both ways, I love the over.
Cardinals +2.5 at Bucs
The benching of Josh Freeman is fine and all but announcing it so late in the week has allowed very little practice time for Mike Glennon with Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams.  Glennon may go on to be a fine NFL quarterback but the Bucs offense struggles mightily here.

Nick Shepkowski (2-3-1):
Wisconsin +7 at Ohio State
The Badgers last 11 losses (dating back to 2011) have all been by 7 points or fewer.  Their power run game should keep this low scoring enough that they’re not blown out, couple that with Braxton Miller returning to action for the first time in a couple weeks and I like the Badgers to keep this one close at the Horseshoe.
Seahawks -3 at Texans
Some say Russell Wilson looks like an All-Pro.  His Seahawks have covered all three games so far while the Texans have failed to cover the spread in 2013.  I’ll pick that trend until it ends.  Give me the Hawks -3.

Ben Finfer (1-5):
Ravens -2 at Bills
It’s a road game sure but the Bills aren’t good enough to beat the Ravens.  2 points is minimal to cover, I love the Ravens.
Colts -9 at Jaguars
After last week’s debacle in Seattle there truly is no number too high to give Jacksonville.  The Colts dominate this one.

Jay Zawaski (2-4):
Colts -9 at Jaguars
For the same reasons Ben just said, until Jacksonville makes a game competitive there’s no reason to think they can actually do so.  Andrew Luck and company roll on Sunday.
Bengals -5 at Browns
The Browns are coming off a road win in Minnesota and I expect them to finally have that steady fall we all expected when they traded Trent Richardson.  Bengals by at least a touchdown in this one.

Dan McNeil (2-4):
Colts -9 at Jaguars
Join the gang and lay the points I suppose.  The Jaguars truly are that bad though with no signs of improvement coming this week.  I love Indy to win big on Sunday.
Saints -7 vs. Dolphins
Two favorites, I get it but am not sold on Miami yet.  At least not on the road, in the SuperDome.  Drew Brees and company will score at will with Cameron Wake likely out and I love the Saints to cover the touchdown spread.
