(CBS) NBC Sunday Night Football analyst Cris Collinsworth should probably stop talking for awhile.
During Sunday’s Patriots-Falcons game, Collinsworth waxed poetic on the “Patriots Way” after a stellar performance from cornerback Aqib Talib.
“We all know about Aqib Talib and his history, what happened in Tampa. All Bill Belichick does is bring him in and there hasn’t been one ounce of a problem,” Collinsworth said. “There’s something about when they come in and play for the Patriots. Whatever their issues may have been before, they disappear and they play great football.”
Talib’s legal troubles are well-documented, but Collinsworth must have forgotten about the murder charge against former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
