Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Attempted Sex Assault

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police have released a sketch of a male who attempted to sexually assault a woman Tuesday near Jackson Park in the South Side Hyde Park neighborhood.

The male was first seen walking down the street in the 5900 block of South Cornell Drive about 4:15 p.m. with his genitals exposed, according to an alert from Area Central detectives.

The male then grabbed a woman and forced her to the ground before trying to force her to perform oral sex, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a 16-20 year old black male, 5-foot-7 and between 140-150 pounds with short, curly black hair.

He was wearing jeans and white leather gym shoes.
