CHICAGO (STMW) – Chicago Police officers observed a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting early Wednesday traveling westbound on the Kennedy Expressway in the River North neighborhood.

Officers observed a white car traveling on the Kennedy Expressway near the outbound Ontario Street ramp shoot at a white truck about 3:45 a.m., said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.

The car fled the scene while the truck, with two passengers including the driver, was pulled over on the ramp, Alfaro said. They were identified as the victims.

No one was shot, Alfaro said.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives were investigating.
