CHICAGO (STMW) — A man collapsed inside a Lincoln Park neighborhood Walgreens after he was shot multiple times Wednesday night.

He collapsed inside the store in the 1500 block of West Fullerton Avenue about 8 p.m. after he was shot in the chest, leg and hip, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

The man, 29, is “extremely uncooperative” with police and will not say where he was shot, police said.

Authorities say the man shot is an active gang member and a convicted felon.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in “stable” condition, Alfaro said.

Area North detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody Wednesday evening.
