Lanes Reopen On Edens After Semi Crash
(STMW) -- Lanes were reopened to traffic early Saturday on the Edens Expressway after a semi hauling potatoes crashed into the median Friday night, flipping into oncoming traffic and closing all lanes.
The truck, which was hauling potatoes, was travelling south near Dempster Street about 9:10 p.m. when it crashed and flipped over into northbound traffic, Illinois State Police said. The driver suffered minor injuries.
All southbound lanes and two northbound lanes were reopened about 12:30 a.m., state police said.
