Small Fire Struck Out In Michigan Avenue High Rise

CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was hospitalized after a fire broke out in a Michigan Avenue high-rise on Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a 33-story residential building at 535 N. Michigan around 9:30 a.m.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire, which was confined to one unit on the 15th floor, officials said.

One man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

His condition was not life-threatening, officials said.
