DCFS Investigating Death Of Blue Island Infant
(CBS) -- A baby died in Blue Island this weekend and investigators are looking at the father as a suspect.
Department of Children and Family Service spokeswoman Karen Hawkins says right now they're looking at is as a case of neglect. She says anytime a baby dies they take it very seriously.

"There is a lot that goes into these investigations and it takes everyone being involved it is not just the coroner, it is not just the medical examiner's office, they need law enforcement they need the medical community involved. That is one of the things that DCFS is able to do with these awful cases," said Hawkins.
7-month-old Oliver Johnson was found unresponsive at his home on Saturday morning and was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later.
DCSF has had no other contact with the family.
