Police: Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted In Austin

CHICAGO (STMW) — A teenage girl was sexually assaulted Friday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
The 16-year-old girl was walking on Menard between Washington and Madison when a male began following and calling her about 10 p.m., according to a community alert from Area North detectives.
When the girl ignored him, the male grabbed her from behind, pushed her against a wall and sexually assaulted her before fleeing on foot, the alert said.
The suspect is described as a black male with a deep voice, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9, 155-175 pounds, the alert said.
