Simeon’s Williams Commits To Illinois

(CBS) Illinois head basketball coach John Groce is certainly making waves in the recruiting process.

On Tuesday, Groce and Illinois received an oral commitment from Simeon forward D.J. Williams for the incoming Class of 2015.

Williams becomes the third Simeon player to commit to the Illini under Groce’s leadership, joining Jaylon Tate and Kendrick Nunn.

The 6-foot-7 Williams, rated a four-star player, is ranked as the 29th best player in the country, according to ESPN.com.
