Man Killed In South Side Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) --A man was fatally shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood Monday evening on the South Side.

Phillip Curtis, 21, was shot in the neck, arm and abdomen in the 8700 block of South Loomis Street about 4:30 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Curtis, of the 8600 block of South Marshfield Avenue, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 5:25 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.

Area South detectives are investigating.
