(CBS) The Lions are without question one of the dirtiest teams in the NFL.

That fact is accepted league-wide.

But Dave from Downtown doesn’t exactly think his Lions are dirty.

In fact, during today’s show with Matt Spiegel and Laurence Holmes on 670 The Score, Dave actually called the Lions one of the cleanest teams in the NFL.

But what about Ndamukong Suh, who has been fined a total of $209,000 in three and a half seasons, and docked another $165,294 for his two-game suspension for stomping on a player on Thanksgiving Day in 2011?

“You’re going to call me conspiratorial, but his technique is so transcendent,” Steve said. “His fast-twitch muscle fiber – if you watch him off the ball, he’s so quick and so dominating that the NFL is basically saying, ‘We cannot have someone that evolved.’ That’s what the fine is. It is.”
