CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was shot to death in the Lower West Side neighborhood late Tuesday.

A blue van pulled up alongside the 19-year-old as he walked in the 2200 block of South Oakley Avenue about 11:30 p.m. and someone inside opened fire, police said.

Uriel Quinones of the 2300 block of West 22nd Street was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
