Police: One Dead, One Wounded In Englewood Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- One man was killed and another wounded during a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said.
The men were shot about 2:30 p.m. in the 800 block of West 59th Street, police said.
A 22-year-old man was shot in the left knee and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
A second man, 21, was shot in the arm and taken in "stable" condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
