Brian Kelly: Golson Has Reapplied To Notre Dame

(CBS) Before quarterback Everett Golson can return to his role as quarterback of the Fighting Irish, he needs to do one thing.

And that’s get accepted back into the University of Notre Dame.

Golson is currently suspended from the team for one semester after cheating in school.

“That application process has been submitted from what I know of,” Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly said. “And decisions relative to admissions happen in middle of December.”

Golson started 11 games for Notre Dame in 2012. He’s spent the fall training for his potential return.
