Score Launches 'Sporting The Spirit' To Benefit Tornado Victims
(WSCR) As the holiday season approaches, 670 The Score was preparing to launch the fifth annual 'Sporting the Spirit' charity drive throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
In the aftermath of the devastation left by several tornados earlier this week, 670 The Score has shifted its 'Sporting the Spirit' focus to providing relief to those in the Midwest who were impacted.
Over the next week, 670 The Score Promotions will be setting up drop-off sites throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Listeners are encouraged to donate items that will help with the relief efforts. A list has been provided below that outlines the items in need.
Beginning the week of December 2nd, the focus will shift to providing holiday gifts and children's toys that will also benefit individuals impacted in areas throughout Central Illinois. The Sporting the Spirit Drive will conclude at the end of December, when The Score will accompany Elite Truck Rental to personally deliver the holiday gifts to the impacted areas.
