Teen Shot In Austin

(STMW) — A teenager was wounded in a shooting Friday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The boy, 16, was shot multiple times in the leg and thigh about 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Central Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in “stable” condition, Alfaro said.

Nobody is in custody Friday night as Area North detectives investigate.
