Man Critically Wounded In South Deering Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found shot several times on a sidewalk in the South Deering neighborhood early Saturday.
The Jeffery Whiters, 34, was found about 12:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 100th Street with gunshot wounds to his right thigh and "left side of the body," authorities said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died, authorities said.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
