Three Hurt In Chatham Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three men were hurt in a shooting in the South Side Chatham neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened at 4:41 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Evans Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

One man, 32, was shot in the back, while another man, 35, was shot in the buttocks, police said. Both were taken to Advocate Christ medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable" condition.

A third man, 21, was shot in the left leg and was able to make it on his own to Jackson Park Hospital, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
