Hawks Send Nordstrom To Rockford

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Joakim Nordstrom to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.

In 10 games with the Blackhawks this season, the 21-year-old has one goal and one assist. Nordstrom has five goals and 1 assist in 15 games with Rockford this season.

The move makes room on the roster for Andrew Shaw who could return from injury for Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers.
