Man Shot To Death In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot and killed in the Englewood neighborhood Sunday afternoon on the South Side.
The 22-year-old man was shot in the chest about 2:45 p.m. in the 300 block of West 60th Place, police said.
The man, who police said was a parolee with gang affiliations, was dead at the scene, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the man’s death, but could not release his identity pending family notification.
Nobody was in custody Sunday afternoon as Area South detectives investigated.
