Video Of Massive Pileup On Snowy Road Serves As Warning For Chicago Drivers
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago area is expected to get 2 to 4 inches of snow during the morning rush hour on Wednesday.
The video with this story shows a massive pileup on a Wisconsin highway on Sunday--in similar conditions that are expected here tomorrow morning.
So, on Wednesday morning, slow down.
And if you need proof, watch this video.
It gets particularly scary around the 3:20 mark.
Nobody was killed in this accident, but three others died in separate accidents across the area.
The footage shows a massive pileup--police say dozens of cars and trucks were involved--as one vehicle after another slides out of control during the five-minute clip.
Drivers exiting their cars are seen scrambling to avoid being hit by out-of-control automobiles.
The accident happened on Highway 41/45 near Lannon Road in Germantown, Wis.
In a separate pileup accident a few miles down the same highway, police in Menomonee Falls said two people were killed.
The third fatality involved a woman who was killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee County, police said.
Sunday's crashes shut down the highway for about nine hours.
