McCown Earns NFC Offensive Player Of The Week Honors
(CBS) At age 34, Josh McCown is playing the best football of his career.
After Monday night’s win against the Cowboys, McCown was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
McCown completed 27 of 36 passes for 348 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 141.9 passer rating.
He also added a rushing touchdown, his first since 2004.
Regardless, Bears head coach Marc Trestman maintained that Jay Cutler will regain his starting duties once he’s medically cleared to play.
