Man Killed In Woodlawn Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed early Saturday in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
About 1:10 a.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired found the 42-year-old lying in the alley in the 700 block of East 67th Street, police said.
Michael Turner, of the 9400 block of South Eberhart Avenue, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he was pronounced dead at 2:10 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
