Authorities: Man, Woman Killed In Murder-Suicide
MAYWOOD, Ill. (STMW) -- A man and woman were killed in a murder-suicide in west suburban Maywood Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Donya Davis and Sonya Davis were pronounced dead in a home in the 1600 block of South 18th Avenue at 1:49 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Sonya Davis, 41, died of multiple gunshot wounds. Her death was ruled a homicide. Donya Davis, 48, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, according to the medical examiner's office.
A representative from Maywood Police Department could not be reached for comment Sunday afternoon.
