What is your educational background?

“I hold a dual degree with a BBA in Finance and Accounting. I also hold numerous business certifications and accomplishments in the areas of finance, accounting and business. I am also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and member of the National Association of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (NACHBC).”

What is your experience in the business and management field?

“I have been training emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for over 10 years. I have created a coaching style that addresses key elements needed in order to thrive as an entrepreneur. As a business consultant and project leader, I have trained thousands of entrepreneurs and managed over $200 million in projects. Some of the clients I’ve served include the Department of Treasury, Office of Financial Stability (Obama Administration TARP Fund), Berkshire Hathaway, Hanover Insurance, AIG Insurance, Atlanta Records and Cook County Hospital.”

What advice can you give others looking to go into this or a similar profession?

“I have had a strong desire to be an entrepreneur since I was a child. My education allowed me to gain the experience and credibility needed in order to succeed as a business woman. It opened doors to levels of experience and exposure to major business that I would not have been able to obtain otherwise. I think a business background in finance and accounting is the most valuable education an aspiring business person can have. It expands your capacity to understand financials and your ability to build big businesses.”
