(CBS) As the saying goes, Karma is a… Well, you know.
Back in 2001, Blackhawks left winger Steve Sullivan took a stick to the face during a game against the Avalanche. As Sullivan headed to the Blackhawks’ bench with the team’s trainer, he was heckled by a fan in the first row.
The fan was seemingly taunting Sullivan for being weak, laughing at his injury.
That’s when Karma kicked in.
Minutes later, after Sullivan scored not one but two goals, an errant puck sailed into the stands, striking the same fan directly in the face.
Sullivan skated over to the fan and the two exchanged words.
