Teen Boy Killed In Near West Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed Sunday afternoon on the Near West Side.
The boy was shot in the head about 4:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street, authorities said. He was dead at the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the death but declined to provide further information.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
