CHICAGO (CBS) – Police have identified a teenage boy found wandering the streets in Lakeview overnight.

WBBM Newsradio’s Regine Schlesinger reports the boy, believed to be about 14 years old, was found around Roscoe and Halsted in the Lakeview neighborhood.

The boy gave detectives several different names for himself and his mother. He told them he’s from around Joliet or Plainfield, and has been wandering for about two months, ever since he was left on 111th street.

One of the names the boy gave was Shavon Davis, although police have not yet said if that’s his real name, only that he’s been identified, and officers are working to reunite him with his family.
