(CBS) The Bears have hired respected martial arts coach Joe Kim to work with their blockers on hand technique, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Kim specializes in Taekwondo instruction and will work with all positions, though the offensive line obviously figures to be a focus. The Bears will be the ninth NFL team since 1992 to use Kim’s expertise, the Tribune reported.

Most recently, Kim worked as a pass rush consultant for the Chiefs from 2010-2012, ProFootballTalk reported.

The Bears allowed 30 sacks in 2013, the fourth-fewest in the NFL.
