Return For Notre Dame’s Demetrius Jackson Still Unclear

Your guess is as good as anyone's for when the freshman guard may return.

(CBS) It remains unclear when Notre Dame freshman guard Demetrius Jackson may return to the floor after missing Tuesday’s game against Clemson because of what Irish coach Mike Brey called an academic issue, the Chicago Tribune reported.

In his Thursday teleconference, Brey gave little in the way of an update.

“We’re not giving Demetrius updates,” Brey said, according to the Tribune. “He’ll be back when he’s ready to be back and we’ll cut him loose. I don’t think we’re going to do updates on him.”

Jackson is averaging 6.1 points in 23.3 minutes per game.
