CHICAGO (CBS) — On Chicago’s Southwest Side, Little Village neighbors gather in the snow to say they have no place to park when they get home, reports WBBM’s John Cody.
A one man activist group, Raoul Montez gathered some neighbors to back up his analysis that between dibs on the shoveled spaces, and abandoned cars moldering on the street parking’s tough in the 2600 block of South Kolin.
“We have two vehicles that are from gang-bangers on this block that are abandoned here for months,” said Montez.
For Rosa Limon, there could be a lot more parking if the city paid more attention
“Get rid of this handicapped spot here that is not being used. They sold it and left the parking permit here and no one uses it,” said Limon.
