Police: Drunk Couple Had Sex In Cab, Then Couldn't Pay Fare
ORLAND PARK, Ill. (STMW) -- A couple's erotic cab ride from a bar to southwest suburban Orland Park ended on a less-than-romantic note when they couldn't cover the fare, according to police.
The driver called police about 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 9 from the 15500 block of Sunset Ridge Drive in Orland Park, complaining of a couple who'd had sex in the backseat of his cab, then refused to pay the $83 fare for a ride from a Rosemont bar, according to an Orland Park police report.
Officers found a 27-year-old man and 31-year-old woman, both apparently drunk, "producing incoherent sentences [and] attempting to gather clothing that was strewn throughout the taxi," the report said.
Neither had any money, but the man eventually went inside his home across the street to get his mother's credit card to pay the fare, Orland Park police Sgt. Scott Malmborg said.
"But apparently he didn't invite his companion inside," Malmborg said.
The woman was taken to the Orland Park Police Department, where her brother picked her up about 6 a.m.
No charges were filed.
