(CBS) The Bears have signed defensive end Trevor Scott to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
The 29-year-old Scott is 6-foot-5, 260 pounds, and he played in four games for Tampa Bay last season, registering two tackles.
His best season was for Oakland in 2009, when he had 33 tackles and seven sacks. Scott was originally a sixth-round pick by the Raiders in 2008. He played for Oakland through 2011, then was a New England Patriot in 2012 before moving to the Bucs last year.
