(CBS) A man is suing a new Las Vegas casino for allowing him to bet and lose $500,000 during Super Bowl while he was intoxicated, according to a report.
Mark Johnston is suing the Downtown Grand because it allowed him to bet while he was visibly drunk. Gaming regulations stipulate that casinos can be disciplined for allowing clearly intoxicated patrons to gamble, according to KSNV News.
“I feel like they picked my pockets,” Johnston told KSNV. “I feel like they took a drunk guy . . . like a drunk guy walking down the street, and you reach in his pockets and grab all his money.”
