Skokie Students Hold Singing Protest Against The Weather

SKOKIE, Ill. (CBS) — The weather is the subject of a protest march Saturday in Skokie.

WBBM’s Mike Krauser reports at the Odeion School of Music in Skokie, students were practicing songs and making colorful signs before a march through the streets for a singing protest against the weather.
Evan made two signs.

“Well, my first sign that I made was a sign that said, “music brings sun” and I had sailing and flowers. My second sign was a big sun with sunglasses,” Evan said.

Eftihia Papageorgiou is the director of the school.

“It is not that nice today but if it is nice tomorrow we’ll know why,” Papageorgiou said.
