Two Men Invade Schaumburg Townhouse While Woman Is Home

Police Seek Two Home Invaders

(CBS) — Schaumburg police are looking for two men who pried their way into a woman’s apartment and left her with minor injuries.

WBBM’s John Cody reports.

Schaumburg Police Sgt. John Nebl said this was unusually brazen for a pair of burglars who’d normally avoid human contact.

The woman, who resides in a townhouse in the 300 block of Pembroke Court, did not require hospitalization. The victim gave police a very general description of two fairly young men in hoodies.

Sgt. Nebl says police believe this is not related to another burglary pattern that saw major electronic items like TVs and computers being removed while owners were absent.
