Police Questioning Man, Woman In Connection With Pizzeria Robbery

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police are questioning two people accused in the robbery of a Chicago pizza shop.

CBS 2's Courtney Gousman reports police officers want to know if they are the same man and woman who walked into a West Loop Sarpino's, ordered a pizza, and then re-approached the counter to rob the restaurant.

Police say the couple used scarves to cover their faces after entering the restaurant and threatened to blow the place up with items inside a duffle bag if workers didn't give up the money.

Investigators are also trying to determine if the same couple robbed a 7-11 with a sawed-off shotgun just hours prior to Friday morning's Sarpino's robbery. Those robbers were also wearing scarves over their faces.
