Two Police Officers Involved In Crash In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) –Two police officers went to a hospital after being involved in a crash early Sunday in Englewood.

The crash, involving a police squad car and one other vehicle, happened about 1:30 a.m. near the corner of Marquette Road and Racine Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The officers were taken to a hospital in good condition and later released, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, police said.
