More Than 300 Denied Concealed Carry Licenses After Instructor Decertified

(CBS) -- A southwest suburban firearms instructor has been kicked out of the state's concealed-carry training program, and those students he's trained will have to go through classes again.

State Police say they acted following a series of complaints and discovered that the training was neither long enough nor comprehensive enough. As a result, they are denying the applications of 327 gun owners who trained under the instructor.
