CHICAGO (CBS) -- One of Goose Island's brewing creations has made an unusual top 10 list.

The Chicago brewery's Pepe Nero has bade Huffington Post's list of "10 Best Beers You've Probably Never Heard Of"

"This one's a bit of a style-bender," writes HuffPo. "It looks like a stout, and it tastes a bit like a stout, but it doesn't feel like a stout.

"Nuts in the aroma and roasted malt on the palate finish with a peppery dry finish and just enough earthiness to remind you that this is a saison at heart."

The mahogany-colored Belgian style farmhouse ale contains 6.4 percent alcohol, is made with pilgrim and saaz hops and four types of malt: pilsner, rye, crystal rye and black malt.

It received a gold medal is the saison category at the 2011 World Beer Championships.
