Man Shot At Goose Island Nightclub
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot inside a club on Goose Island early Tuesday.
The 24-year-old man was involved in an argument about 3:15 a.m. with a group of "several" males in a hallway near the exit of Hearts Night Club, 1115 N. North Branch St., when someone pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the chest, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The man's friend took him to Rush University Medical Center, and he was later transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Alfaro said. He is in "serious but stable" condition, Alfaro said.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
