Bears Claim WR Josh Bellamy Off Waivers
(CBS) The Bears claimed receiver Josh Bellamy off waivers from the Redskins Tuesday.
A product of Louisville, the 6-foot, 206-pound Bellamy appeared in five games for Washington last season but didn't have a catch. He played for the Chiefs in 2012, his rookie season, also failing to record a catch. He has also contributed on special teams.
Bellamy will battle Domenik Hixon, Eric Weems, Chris Williams and Terrence Toliver for playing time as reserve receivers.
