Five Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car Fleeing Police

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Five people were hospitalized after being hit by a car fleeing from police Tuesday night, according to Chicago Police.

It happened just before 9 p.m. near 103rd and Michigan in the Roseland neighborhood. According to witnesses, some of the victims were standing by the bus stop.

A car ran into the bus stop. Why? I don't know. People need to be more careful with the public even in high speed chases. The police need to kind of control it

A 21-year-old man was taken to Christ Hospital in serious condition. Two 25-year-old women, a 64-year-old woman and 58-year-old man are in good condition.

Police would not say if the driver was taken into custody.
