Bears Sign RB Shaun Draughn

(CBS) The Bears have signed running back Shaun Draughn to a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot, 205-pound Draughn, 26, appeared in three games for Baltimore as a reserve last season, rushing four times for two yards. Prior to that, he spent two seasons in Kansas City.

Draughn gives the Bears more depth at running back after Chicago released Michael Bush in March. Starter Matt Forte and backup Michael Ford are the top two on the Bears' depth chart at this point.

A North Carolina product, Draughn first entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2011.
