Man Found Shot To Death In Greater Grand Crossing
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found fatally shot Wednesday morning in a building in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
Paramedics were called about 6:15 a.m. for reports of a man bleeding in a hallway in the 7800 block of South Ingleside Avenue, police News Affairs Janel Sedevic said.
When rescue crews arrived they found him dead with a gunshot wound to the head, Sedevic said.
The man was identified Thursday morning as 22-year-old Quinton Jackson, of the 100 block of East 103rd Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:45 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.
No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
