Girl Missing From South Shore

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 16-year-old girl went missing Friday from the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side.

Melody Palmore was last seen Friday in the 7400 block of South Paxton Avenue, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Palmore was described as black girl, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 175 pounds, police said. She has brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, police said.

Police did not have details on what she was last seen wearing.
